Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast Honors 36 Local Girls on June 7
This Celebration is Open to the Public

Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast will be hosting a celebration to honor the 36 local girls who earned the Girl Scout Gold Award during the past year on Sunday, June 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at in the Scott Dozier Dining Hall at Norfolk State University. The Gold Award is the highest honor and achievement a girl can earn in Girl Scouting.

Girl Scout alumna and Gold Award recipient Alyssa Embree will be the guest speaker for the celebration. Embree is currently a partner at Williams Mullen Law Firm in Norfolk, where her practice focuses on commercial and multifamily real estate and finance.

During the celebration, each Gold Award recipient will be recognized on stage and description of her project will be shared. A reception with light fare will follow.

All are welcome to attend the celebration. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at www.gsccc.org
