Chamber to Hold Chesapeake State of the Schools on May 14
Superintendent to Speak on Chesapeake Schools' Accomplishments, Successes and Challenges.

WHAT:           
The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Chesapeake State of the Schools Breakfast.This event will offer members of the business community a closer look at the impact public education has on the Hampton Roads community. The Chamber realizes top-notch schools are essential to improving the quality of life and attracting homebuyers and new businesses to local cities.  The Superintendent’s update will be an investment for you and your business.

WHO:             
Superintendent Dr. James T. Roberts will highlight the Chesapeake schools’ accomplishments, successes and challenges. Dr. Roberts is in his third year as superintendent of Chesapeake Public Schools.  He worked as a teacher, administrator, and director for Portsmouth Public Schools for 26 years before joining Chesapeake Public Schools in 1995.
