The Hampton Roads Chamber was honored to be on hand for the grand opening for new Trustee Member PortRail Crane Service LLC.

The celebration at their Portsmouth facility was to mark PortRail Crane Service’s contribution to expanding Virginia’s ports and building economic growth for Portsmouth and the Commonwealth.  The 42 employee company will service the cranes at the Port of Virginia.

Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Todd Haymore  stressed the importance of the work at the Port of Virginia as “exports are a key component of building the new Virginia Economy.”

Portsmouth Mayor John Rowe thanked company President Dan Stevens for locating this company in Portsmouth, “the gateway to the heartland of America”.  The Port of Virginia’s Chief Public Affairs Officer Cathie Vick stressed that “being a catalyst for commerce, the Port must partner with companies like PCS.”
