Greetings Chamber Members

Greetings Chamber Members
On behalf of your staff team here at the chamber, I wanted to take this opportunity to communicate with each of you prior to the 2016 General Assembly session. We want you to know that we will be in Richmond throughout the sixty day session representing the business interests of our members. As your lead lobbyist I pledge to each of you that we will clearly communicate the needs of our members and our region through direct communication with our twenty nine State Senators and Delegates and with testimony before General Assembly Committees. You will be able to follow our activities daily through social media and weekly through our News and Notes digest of business related legislative activity.

We look forward to a successful session as our legislative priorities have been shared broadly with our delegation, we have worked hard to build effective relationships with our elected officials and we have been working collaboratively with the business lobby throughout the Commonwealth.  In 2016 we hope that you will be well informed on business legislative matters, become engaged through our Action Alerts and also that you will work collaboratively with your staff and volunteer leadership as we shape business legislative policy in Virginia. Together we will leverage a strong Voice of Business to achieve the desired outcomes in our State Capitol.  #IraGA2016
