Hampton Roads Chamber to Hold State of the City Luncheon in Virginia Beach on March 14

Virginia Beach Mayor William D. Sessoms, Jr. Will Deliver State of the City Address

HAMPTON ROADS, VA — The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of the City Luncheon will be held in Virginia Beach on Wednesday, March 14 at noon at the Virginia Beach Convention Center (1000 19th Street).Virginia Beach Mayor William D. Sessoms, Jr. will highlight key business development initiatives, provide strategic municipal progress updates, address challenges and opportunities in the city, and provide a glimpse into the city’s future.  More than 700 of the region’s business, political, and community leaders are expected to attend. 

The Chamber's State of the City Series has become the preferred forum for elected officials and mayors to communicate with their constituents and are often sold out events.  State of the City addresses are annual updates of each city's progress over the past year and agenda for the year to come.  Each address is held in the featured city and is given by the mayor of that city.  This event is a forum for interaction among leaders in attendance.
