Environmental Impact Study Produces Positive Results for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline
The Hampton Roads Chamber is excited to announce the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's new environmental impact study which advocates the mitigation of serious environmental concerns regarding the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) construction.

Norfolk, Va. (Janurary 12, 2017)--The Hampton Roads Chamber is excited to announce the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) new environmental impact study which advocates the mitigation of serious environmental concerns regarding the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) construction. The FERC has partnered with Dominion Power in declaring that the economic benefits of the ACP will outweigh the potential risks. They believe that their partnership with Dominion will ensure that an environmental protection plan will be established for the ACP construction. The Hampton Roads Chamber, along with 18 other Virginia Chambers, have pledged support to this project for the anticipated job influx, tax revenue, and other positive attributes this will bring to both state and local communities.
