Hampton Roads Chamber Attends Cuban Ambassador Visit
The Cuban delegation discussed tourism and port trade at the Town Point Club in Norfolk.

"Where we are today is the result of so many people in Cuba and the United States," said Jose Cabana, Cuban Ambassador to the United States, as he spoke to representatives of the business community in Hampton Roads on January 30th at the Town Point Club in Norfolk. The Hampton Roads Chamber was honored to be part of the Cuban Ambassador 's visit as he introduced his delegation and spoke on the increase in tourism and port trade.  Virginia State Secretary of Commerce and Trade, Todd Haymore, said "Virginia is All in as it relates to improving relationships between the Commonwealth and Cuba. Virginia is moving as forcefully as possible into improving relations today and into the future."  The Hampton Roads Chamber will continue to serve as a facilitator of economic development in the Hampton Roads region, including increased port trade and export.
