Former Hearst Publishing Executive Valerie Salembier to Share Success Tips at Chamber Luncheon on June 5
The Chambers Professional Womens Leadership Luncheon Series will feature Valerie Salembier, who will present Success: It is Never Too Late. Salembier, who believes that reinvention is the new way of life, will share career lessons learned and still learning, as well as how getting fired and publically humiliated helped her career and changed her life.

WHAT: The Chamber’s Professional Women’s Leadership Luncheon Series will feature Valerie Salembier, who will present “Success: It is Never Too Late.”  Salembier, who believes that reinvention is the new way of life, will share career lessons learned and still learning, as well as how getting fired and publically humiliated helped her career and changed her life.  The Chamber’s Professional Women’s Leadership Luncheon Series is open to the public. Speaker messages are universal.

WHO:  Valerie Salembier is President & CEO of The Authentics Foundation. The mandate of The Authentics Foundation is to educate consumers about the perils associated with the purchase of counterfeit goods. She is also President & CEO of The Salembier Group LLC, a fashion strategy group which provides strategic planning, retail counsel, distribution implementation and financial fund-raising opportunities for high potential women’s fashion designers and brands.

Until January 2014, Ms. Salembier served as Assistant Police Commissioner for the New York City Police Department where she had responsibility for public information and media relations. Previously, Ms. Salembier spent 16 years as a Senior Vice President of the Hearst Corporation.
