The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce promotes pro-business policies in local and state government, advocating for a variety of issues. On Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., the City of Norfolk will hold a public information meeting regarding Southeast High Speed Rail. The meeting will be held at the Half Moone Cruise & Celebration Center.  Special guests include Ms. Thelma Drake, Director of Rail and Public Transportation and Mr. Kevin Paige, Chief of Rail Transportation. Remarks will be given by Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim. There will also be a presentation by Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation followed by a Q&A session.
