The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce received more than 40 applications for its 26^th Annual Hampton Roads Small Business of the Year Awards.  One exceptional small business owner, out of five finalists, one from each Southside cities, will be selected for his or her tireless work and embodiment of the spirit of enterprise. 

The five city winners and finalists for the Small Business of the Year title are:

Charles A. Schue III, President & CEO of UrsaNav, Inc. will be presented with this admirable award.

The finalists will be honored, and one overall winner named, at the 2010 Hampton Roads Small Business Awards luncheon at noon on May 25, 2010 at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center.  This luncheon coincides with “National Small Business Week” held May 23–25 that recognizes the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of the United States.
