Over 400 people attended the Spring B2B Expo

“The partnership with the Chamber [has] allowed me to talk about the new brand of Delta and given me the chance to put our voice in the community, of businesses", said Henry Jones, Assistant General Manger for the Delta Hotels by Marriot and host sponsor for the Hampton Roads Chamber Spring B2B Expo.

Over 400 people attended the Spring B2B Expo Tuesday, April 18th, sharing their products and services at one of the largest business to business trade shows in the region. A wide variety of businesses participated in the Spring B2B expo, industries of every nature were represented,  including realtors, banks, caterers, and colleges.  One of the participants, Virginia Peninsula Photographer and Google Street Viewer, Gerry Neary is new to the Hampton Roads Chamber, having joined one month ago. This was one of his first Hampton Roads Chamber events and it made an impression. “We enjoyed the opportunity to meet with South Hampton Roads businesses," said Neary, " we hope to expand our business to a location on the Southside in the near future.” It is important to the Hampton Roads Chamber to continue to strive for regional economic development and diversification throughout Hampton Roads and beyond.

Being a powerful economic partner is one of the core missions for the Hampton Roads Chamber and  George Carter with Coastal Living Magazine says that’s a prominent reason they’ve valued their membership with the Chamber, “we’ve been Chamber members since 1999 and the connections and people we’ve meet [over the years] has been impactful for our business.”
