Lisa DeNoia has been an entrepreneur since childhood.
“I had a lemonade stand in our cul-de-sac and I loaded up a Radio Flyer (wagon) to take lemonade to other houses,” she said. “When it ran out, I would sell stuff door-to-door that nobody wanted. But they bought it anyway, like a bracelet that was broken for 50 cents.”
Fast forward to about five years ago when she and business partner Jeff Werby were managers and co-workers at an international marketing firm. While in San Francisco, they saw and liked the concept of communal workspace for rent. Read more.
