State of the City Series Concludes and Draws Record Attendance

The final three events of the Chamber’s five-part State of the City Series concluded on April 26. The sold-out series was a tremendous success and provided attendees with highlights of key business development initiatives, municipal progress updates, and opportunities in the cities where they live and work.  The last events, held in Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, were attended by a total of more than 1,500 business and community leaders.

Each city’s mayor was focused on the future and learning from the past.  A common theme among all three city addresses was communities working together to achieve more.  The Chamber is pleased to host the State of the City Series to the business community.
