LEAD Hampton Roads presented its 8th annual eXcel Leadership Academy, a program designed for our region's rising high school juniors and seniors July 15-18. Modeled after our Signature program for  established regional leaders, eXcel brings similar experiences and training to our region's high-potential youth, taking them "behind the scenes" and putting them in contact with our region's top leaders to prepare for "the real world." The eXcel Class of 2014 brought together 25 students representing 6 cities, and 17 different schools both public, private and homeschool.
