This morning, at the Downtown Norfolk Financial Center, Bank of America introduced state-of-the-art ATM technology, which through live video chat, provides the personal assistance of a teller allowing customers to do more of their banking transactions beyond normal banking hours.
At the event, Bank of America representatives demonstrated the new ATM with Teller Assist technology featuring live tellers via video and other unique capabilities of the ATM, such as cashing checks down to the penny.
In addition to traditional ATM transactions, ATM with Teller Assist allows customers to cash and deposit checks and make Bank of America loan or credit payments, with assistance from a teller available via video communication on the ATM screen. ATMs with Teller Assist help customers bank at their convenience with availability to be assisted by a teller during and outside of traditional banking center hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
