NORFOLK, VA: It might be cold outside, but it’s warm in the Virginia Zoo’s newest exhibit, the World of Reptiles and Friends. And as an extra incentive to come visit the more than 200 animals, the Zoo is offering half off regular Zoo admission for the month of February.
The World of Reptiles, which opened in June 2018, offers visitors a chance to get up close and personal with many exotic reptiles and amphibians in an indoor and heated environment. Come face to face with Siamese crocodiles, visit the newborn frilled dragons in the Reptile Nursery or learn about the life cycle in the Frog Lab where visitors can see how tad poles become frogs right before their eyes. And every Saturday at 11:30 am, the Reptile Keepers give an interesting and informative Keeper Chat at the Siamese crocodile exhibit.
Don’t forget about the other animals! Many enjoy the cooler temps and are active, especially in the morning or afternoon.
Offer valid on regular Zoo admission only. Cannot be combined with any other discounts. Not valid on events or education programs. Tickets may be purchase at the Zoo’s Ticket Booth or online. Online ticket purchases will only be valid through February 28, 2019. See the website for more details, virginiazoo.org/50-off-february/
