Chesapeake’s job fair will be held at Greenbrier Middle School on Monday, July 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Chesterfield’s job fair will be held at Lloyd C. Bird High School on Friday, August 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is required for both events and attendees should bring their resumes and letters of reference.
Forbes hopes these job fairs will serve a catalyst for employers and potential employees to form constructive working relationships. “A job is more than a means to a pay check,” states the Congressman. “A job is hope for a future that is better than today. It’s dignity. It’s an opportunity to better your life and the life of your family.”
Employers interested in participating should call Joan Fallon at (804) 318-1363 for Chesterfield, or Curtis Byrd at (757) 382-0080 for Chesapeake.
