Pamela Gregory, Manager, Southeast Region, U.S. Chamber of Commerce presented the award to Congressman Forbes citing his strong pro business voting record. Congressman Forbes is a member of the elite group of legislators from both sides of the aisle who have worked to pass legislation and enact policies that bolster our country’s economy, create jobs and keep our nation’s spirit of enterprise alive.
In his remarks Bryan K. Stephens, President and CEO of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce expressed the importance of pro-business legislation to the success of all businesses, large and small, and highlighted the significance of the Defense industry to the Hampton Roads economy.
