NORFOLK, VA (June 11, 2015)– Beginning July 1, 2015, Joanna Brumsey, Shareholder of Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P. C., will begin her first term as Chair of the VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads Board of Directors for the 2015/2016 fiscal year. Ms. Brumsey has served on the Board of Directors for VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads since 2011. During her time on the board, she has served as the Committee Chair for Fund Development and served as Secretary in 2014/2015.
The following individuals have joined the board: Delores Gee of Cox Media; Ray Gromelski of Gromelski and Associates, Inc.; Richard Johnson of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking; Tom Steffens of Steffens Consulting; and Frank Wakeham of Booz Allen Hamilton.
The officers for the 2015/2016 Fiscal Year are: Past Chair Dawna Ellis of Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate; Vice-Chair Les Hall of Allfirst, LLC; Secretary Captain Samuel Howard; Treasurer Kevin Dixon of McPhillips, Roberts & Deans, PLC; and at-large officers Melissa Burroughs of Light Tower Wealth Strategies and Ed Spivey of Kaufman & Canoles.
