Michael Pierce Appointed to the Virginia State Bar Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board

Vandeventer Black attorney, Michael D. Pierce, was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia to serve on the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) board. Pierce is an associate at the firm, and his practice includes matters involving labor and employment law, workers’ compensation insurance defense, maritime law, and general litigation.  

“I am both humbled and honored to have been selected to serve on the MCLE Board at such an early stage of my legal career. I will do my best to provide excellent service consistent with the high standards embraced by all the attorneys and staff of Vandeventer Black,” said Pierce.

Pierce defends lawsuits in both state and federal courts. He frequently represents the interests of employers in proceedings before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and the EEOC.
