Hampton Roads Chamber to Hold State of the City Luncheon in Virginia Beach on March 4th
Virginia Beach Mayor William D. Sessoms to Deliver State of the City Address

The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of the City Luncheon will be held in Virginia Beach on Wednesday, March 4 at noon at the Virginia Beach Convention Center (1000 19th Street).The Honorable Mayor William D. Sessoms will provide an update on the city’s key business development initiatives, municipal progress updates and opportunities. Nearly 1,000 of the region’s business, political, and community leaders are expected to be in attendance. 

The Chamber's State of the City Series has become the preferred forum for elected officials and mayors to communicate with their constituents and are often sold out events. The State of the City addresses are annual updates of each city's progress over the past year and agenda for the year to come.  Each address is held in the featured city and is given by the mayor of that city. This event is a forum for interaction among leaders in attendance.

Portsmouth: Thursday, April 2, noon at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center

Chesapeake: Wednesday, April 15, noon at the Chesapeake Conference Center

Suffolk: Thursday, May 14, noon at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront Hotel & Conference Center
