CHESAPEAKE BAY ACADEMY TEACHER RECOGNIZED BY VIRGINIA BEACH MAYOR
Lower School Teacher Emily K. Morvant awarded for her work done with children with disabilities.

On Thursday, February 20th at Williams Farm Recreation Center, Chesapeake Bay Academy (CBA) Lower School teacher, Emily K. Morvant, was presented with an award by Virginia Beach Mayor, William D. Sessoms, Jr., for her outstanding work with children with disabilities.  Ms. Morvant was nominated for the award by a CBA parent, Mr. Dennis Simon, for “going above and beyond the typical duties of a teacher to make for a more well-rounded student who now has the ability to read.”  Mr. Simon’s son, Bobby, has been working with Ms. Morvant for over two and a half years now and has benefited tremendously.
