HAMPTON ROADS, VA — The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of the City luncheon will be held in Chesapeake on Wednesday, March 31 at noon at the Chesapeake Conference Center (900 Greenbrier Circle). Chesapeake Mayor Alan P. Krasnoff, will highlight key business development initiatives, provide strategic municipal progress updates, address challenges and opportunities in the city, and provide a glimpse into Chesapeake’s future. Those in attendance will also hear remarks from Congressman J. Randy Forbes. More than 500 of the region’s business, political, and community leaders will be in attendance.
The Chamber's State of the City Series has become the preferred forum for elected officials and mayors to communicate with their constituents. The State of the City addresses are annual updates of each City's progress over the past year and agenda for the upcoming year. With five events in the series, each address is held in the featured city and is given by the mayor of that city. These events are a forum for interaction among leaders in attendance.
