The Hampton Roads Chamber means business and is relentless in our efforts to being an impactful advocate for those who protect and serve this country. The hardworking men and women of the military are an important part of our region and as part of the Chamber’s mission to being a powerful economic partner and inspiring ignitor, it is imperative that we support those who have a significant impact on regional economics as well as community leadership. To honor them the Hampton Roads Chamber and our Military Host, Captain Joey Frantzen, USN, Commanding Officer-Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek/Fort Story, will recognize over 70 outstanding active duty military from Virginia Beach Commands on Thursday, May 18, in the Museum of Contemporary Art.
City Manager Dave Hansen will deliver remarks on behalf of the City of Virginia Beach. Prior to becoming Virginia Beach City Manager, Dave Hansen was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management for the U.S. Army's Training and Doctrine Command headquartered at Fort Monroe.
