VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –Mahoney Nashatka Richmond, PLLC is proud to announce that it has been included on the 2019 “Best Law Firms” list put together by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice, with Best Lawyers®, the world's only purely peer-reviewTM guide to the legal profession’s top talent. MNR, a boutique-style family law firm, is in Virginia Beach’s Town Center.
“We are honored for the recognition, not only because of the stellar reputation of the two awarding entities but because our clients took time to rate us and how we represented them during what can often be the worst time in their lives,” said Founding Partner Reeves W. Mahoney.
Firms included on the 2019 list are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. The ranking signifies a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise. MNR Law has made the list for the third consecutive year.
The 2019 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client votes received on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer recognized first in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top five percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Over 16,000 lawyers provided more than 1,125,000 law firm assessments, and almost 12,000 clients provided more than 107,000 evaluations. Mr. Mahoney has been on the Best Lawyers’ list since 2009, while MNR’s two other founding attorneys, Shantell S. Nashatka and Andrew T. Richmond, have made the list two years in a row.
In addition to the title, MNR will be listed on a shared U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers website, bestlawfirms.usnews.com. The site launched earlier this year provides consumers with a comprehensive guide to the more than 1.3 million lawyers working in private practice throughout the United States.
Mahoney Nashatka Richmond, PLLC opened its doors in January 2016. Five of MNR’s six attorneys practice family law, which includes premarital and marital agreements, divorce, divorce with complex asset division, custody, visitation, non-parent rights, and adoption.
