Troy for Troops Centers helps service members, veterans, and their families transition into college life. We provide a comprehensive educational support program to help members succeed in reaching their full potential in achieving their academic goals. Our Centers are a safe zone where our students can experience the camaraderie that is such a strong force among our military. In addition to our student lounge and computer lab, we offer student organizations including the SALUTE Honor Society & Student Veteran Association (SVA) and a Veteran’s Alumni Association.

Since 1950, Troy University has served and supported the United States Armed forces and the men and women who serve or who have served in uniform, their spouses, and their dependents. The University proudly counts some 60 flag officers among the ranks of its alumni, has a presence on or near over 30 military installations worldwide and participates in online learning programs with all service branches. For generations, Troy University has understood the needs of the military student and has built a military inclusive institution offering a broad range of high quality, very affordable undergraduate and graduate academic programs supported by outstanding student services.

The Troy University Military and Family Scholarship were established to recognize the service of the U.S. Active Military, Reserve and National Guard members by offering a scholarship to the service member, their spouse and/or dependent children.  The Scholarship reduces tuition to $250 per credit hour at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

A separate $1,000 Troy for Troops scholarship is also available to currently enrolled Active Military, Reserve and National Guard, and Veteran service member, or spouse of an actively serving service member.

Troy University has been recognized as a leading institution for members of the military and veterans by U.S. News and World Report, GI Jobs, Military Times Edge, Advanced Military Education and more.
