The Charity Sale is a private, four-hour sale dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations. Participating charities will have the opportunity to raise money for their organization by selling event tickets at $5 a piece—100% of ticket proceeds are retained by your charity. Ticket holders receive 20% - 70% off of Belk purchases storewide, including special savings on rarely-discounted brands, as well as $5 off of their first purchase when they present their ticket at the register. Ticket holders may even come in during the week prior to the event and pre-sale their purchase if they are not able to attend. It is a win-win!
This fall, our Charity Sale is set for Saturday, November 5, 2016, 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., but fundraising efforts begin early so be sure to come by and pick up your tickets!
We ask, although not required, that one representative from each participating organization assist for a short time period during the Charity Sale event. Tables will be provided for you to set up collateral to educate individuals about your organization. We also offer the opportunity for one charity to set up in our store at a pre-selected time of your choice prior to the event to sell tickets. Please call ahead to reserve a time. All ticket monies collected in-store the week prior to and the morning of the event will be divided equally among the organizations that participate during the sale on Saturday, November 5, 2016.
