Chesapeake Noland will host a food drive to help The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and The Eastern Shore to meet the food needs of the local community during the upcoming holiday season. The company hopes to collect a minimum of 500 pounds of non-perishable food donations during the drive which will run from Oct. 28 through Nov. 26th. Donation bins will be available in Noland's facility at 663 Woodlake Drive in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake. Matthew Weaver, president of the wholesale supply firm, welcomes customers, vendors, other business associates, business neighbors and visitors to join in the drive. "Working together, we can definitely do more for our community."
Monetary donations will be accepted during Chesapeake Noland's food drive and Weaver's team will have information on hand for those interested in volunteering their services at The Foodbank.
