Scott Longo Named Director of Outside Plant Maintenance for Cox Communications Virginia
Longo will focus on maintaining network integrity and driving performance excellence in Virginia.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Cox Communications recently announced Scott Longo as Director of Outside Plant Maintenance for Cox Communications Virginia.  Longo’s focus will be on maintaining network integrity and driving performance excellence to meet customer demands in Cox markets across Virginia.

 

Longo joined Cox in 2003 as a Field Service Technician and then spent four years as a Network Operations Technician before moving into his most recent role as director for the Virginia Regional CommCenter.

 

“Scott’s technical and leadership background in operations is a tremendous asset to the Cox team,” said Lisa White, Vice President of Outside Plant for Cox Communications Virginia. “He has a great track record of success not only driving the business through process improvements but also developing his teams to provide the best customer experience.” 

 

Longo is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and the Children’s Life Network.  He also volunteers for the Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association and participates in the Cox Communications Mentoring Program.

 

Longo will remain based in Hampton Roads.
